The United Soccer League is America's largest professional organization and oversees the operations of the USL Championship, USL League One, USL League 2 along with the USL Super League and USL W. The organizations aims to be a platform for players to start their journey pre-professionally, before making the step up into the professional game. ALBION Colorado approaches its third-year within the organization

The ALBION Colorado USL program promises aspiring collegiate and professional prospects to continue and elevate their developmental journey as they aim to push their potential. Gain experience performing in a professional environment with a positive team culture, aspiring peers, and committed fans. Players will be directly involved in the community engaging with youth players through paid opportunities such as camps and training programs. Our USL program aims to unite the top talents from within the ALBION National program to give support during the collegiate stage of their careers through the summer season. The USL offers senior players the opportunity to continue chasing goals and putting their abilities to the test in the Premier Pre-Professional platform offered here in the United States. Our professional staff will ensure that training throughout is correctly tailored as to allow players to peak for matches and recover after playing. Training will generally take place in the morning to allow players the chance to work or enjoy Colorado during the day and the evening. ALBION Colorado can help players find work by employing team role-models for summer soccer camps and events with the local youth club. Being a World Cup summer, we will look to do host off-field events to get the most out of the biggest summer in US Soccer history! We look to bring this same energy from the global stage, to Northern Colorado's premier soccer club.

The Third-Tier of the USL pyramid aims to offer aspiring young players the opportunity to experience a professional environment prior to signing their first contract. Players utilize USL in their college or club off-season to take advantage of a high-level platform and grow during their time off. This tier is also the scouting grounds for professional clubs in the next two tiers to identify and reach out to talent to take their next competitive steps. This will be the last year of this Three-Tier format ahead of moving into a ‘Promotion-Relegation’ system in which the best teams move up leagues while the weaker teams are demoted.

As soccer continues exploding in popularity in the United States, local communities are getting behind their local clubs. Many of the top USL programs bring in hundreds to thousands of spectators wanting to get a first-hand look at the next generation of domestic talent while backing their community.
